Installing the Sensi Smart Thermostat is a breeze, even if you've never done it before. The in-app instructions provide clear illustrations and guide you through each step from start to finish.
Once your thermostat is installed and connected, the Sensi app becomes an intuitive remote control that allows you to set, change, and program your home comfort from anywhere.
The Sensi app also offers a range of in-app features, including remote temperature control, flexible 7-day scheduling, usage reports, service reminders, geofencing, auto changeover, circulating fan control, humidity control**, temperature limits, smart alerts, local weather information, early start option, A/C protection, and keypad lockout.
The Sensi Smart Thermostat easily integrates with the smart home platform of your choice. You can seamlessly control all of your connected devices by pairing it with platforms like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit, and SmartThings.
Please note that a common wire (c-wire) is not required for most applications. The Sensi Smart Thermostat does not work with baseboard heat and some other systems. Additionally, a common wire (c-wire) is required for Apple HomeKit compatibility, as well as for heat-only systems, cool-only systems, and heat pump systems.
**Humidification requires additional equipment and we recommend professional installation. Dehumidification is supported with AC and heat pump systems.
